ABOUT FIT 4 CHANGE COLLECTIVE
Fit 4 Change Collective is a youth-led, community-driven Australian social enterprise built on lived experience. We transform youth-created art into wearable statement pieces and a nationally distributed magazine. Our creative output is central to our mission — every design tells a story and every product carries a message.
ROLE PURPOSE
The Creative & Production Lead is responsible for the visual identity, design production, and creative direction of Fit 4 Change Collective. This role brings the Collective's mission to life through compelling design, overseeing the production of the magazine, merchandise, and digital creative assets, and leading the Studio 4 Youth platform.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the creative direction and visual identity of Fit 4 Change Collective across all platforms and products
Oversee the design and layout of the youth magazine, collaborating closely with the Editorial & Publications Lead
Manage the production of wearable art collections, from design concept through to manufacturer-ready files
Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all materials
Lead Studio 4 Youth — a creative platform for young people to contribute artwork, designs, and visual content
Create digital assets for social media, campaigns, and the website
Coordinate with external suppliers and printers to ensure quality production outcomes
Mentor young creatives involved in the Collective's design and production pipeline
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience in graphic design, visual communication, or creative production
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent
Experience in print production or merchandise design (highly regarded)
Strong aesthetic sensibility with the ability to translate social impact messaging into compelling visuals
Experience working with or supporting young creatives
Commitment to youth-led creative expression and mental health advocacy
TIME COMMITMENT & REMUNERATION
Approximately 5–8 hours per week, though time commitment may vary and will increase during publication and collection launch periods. This is a fully remote, volunteer position. It is the intention of Fit 4 Change Collective that this role will transition to a paid position as funding is secured.
